Firehouse field trip

Last week Calvin's class took a field trip to the firehouse, mainly because toddlers love fire trucks, but also to give them an experience outside the classroom.

The fire fighters mainly wanted to tell them that if their house was on fire they have to remember not to hide, and even if the fire fighters look scary in their uniforms, they should run towards them, and not away from them.

They all got to sit behind the wheel of the fire truck and explore the back of an ambulance.
